Documentary Water & Land
Our contact day on October 3rd focused on the link between heritage and climate, marking the conclusion of our Water & Land project and the premiere of our documentary.
Our intangible heritage holds considerable potential: from water storage during peak flows and strengthening local biodiversity to improving our soil health. To realize this potential role for our heritage, we need more research, a holistic vision, and collaboration. We demonstrated this, among other things, with the premiere of our documentary: "Water & Land. Intangible Heritage as a Driver for a Climate-Resilient Future." Based on the heritage practices we investigated in the project, and with insights from Ignace Schops and Gertjan de Boer, we explored the many connections between heritage and climate.
